So you’re getting married and want some beautiful pictures of the day, but you’re out of ideas as to where to go? We’ve got a few suggestions. Here you will find their names contact information, and some pictures to entice you. Call in advance to verify fees and information, as information is subject to change without notice.
Mississauga City Hall
Beautifully landscaped venue for your wedding photographs. Permit required for indoor photos, but not outdoor ones. Fees are $89 for each hour before January ’07, and 89$ per 1.5 hours after January.

Butterfly Conservatory
For over 60 years, the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens have been delighting visitors from around the globe with 100 acres of dazzling manicured gardens and arbora. No permit required for wedding photos. Note: No photos allowed inside Butterfly Conservatory.

Old Davis Tannery

Kariya Park
Japanese garden in the heart of Mississauga. All group photography occurring between Friday and Sunday afternoons must reserve and pay a fee of $90 to obtain a park permit. A permit reserves a 90-minute block of time after January ’07.

Oakes Garden Theatre
Based on Greek amphitheatres of the past, Oakes Garden Theatre is a perfect blending of architecture and horticulture. This art nouveau structure was built in 1937 as an outdoor stage with both Falls serving as a backdrop. No permit required.

Photos are allowed on the campus on weekends and holidays. The permits are given hourly for $120 including GST. For University of Toronto students, alumni and employees the fee is $60 with ID. Applies only to outdoor shots. For more information contact Rose Stina.

Chinguacousy Park

The McMichael Grounds
The gallery is nestled on 100 acres of land overlooking the East Humber River Valley. Two hour permits are $125. No pictures after 5pm.
